Lucas Lee was founded in 1999 and are friendly, approachable and commercially minded Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers with an eye for detail.  We retain many of our first instruction clients and have built up excellent relationships with many large national, as well as small local, firms acting on all professional building matters.  We have offices in both Leeds and Huddersfield and work nationwide.

Lucas Lee is proud to have been appointed by Grantley Hall Ltd to act as Contract Administrators, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors for the construction of a new luxury five star hotel delivering a unique hotel, wellbeing and dining experience in an innovative state of the art building which sits alongside the restoration and refurbishment of Grantley Hall, an elegant Grade II* listed property located near Ripon, within the heart of North Yorkshire.

Grantley Hall was originally built by Thomas Norton and his son Fletcher Norton, the Baron Grantley, in the mid-18^th century and is based on a Palladian design by English architect Isaac Ware.  The main house is being reimagined to create elegant interiors and the new buildings are designed to sit perfectly alongside their natural setting.  Once developed, Grantley Hall will be a five star Spa Hotel delivering a new level of luxury hotel experience.  The hotel will offer supremely spacious bedrooms and stunning suites, a variety of dining options and bar facilities together with a private members club.  The stunning Spa and Wellness centre will offer treatments and state of the art fitness facilities.  There will also be a bespoke venue space, providing a sensational backdrop for special events for up to 200 guests.

Lucas Lee has worked with Grantley Hall since they were commissioned to undertake the acquisition survey in 2015, to ensure that every aspect of their vision delivers an outstanding hotel experience for those who visit.
